       The Kasetsart University Libraries consists of the Office of the University Library and a number of regional campus libraries and faculty libraries with services and resources that support the academic and research programs of the KU students, faculty, and staff. Office of the University library is located on Bangkhen Campus near KU Research and Development Institute (KURDI). It consists of the two buildings which are attached by skyways on the second floor and the third floor. The old building consists of a three-level building, which focuses on library collection contains print volumes, microforms, audiovisual materials, periodical subscriptions, CD-ROM databases, and online databases.  All library collection is remotely accessible through the online catalog, whereas the new building focuses on living library.

The Old Building
       The Old Building is considerably traditional library, where all the printed materials are there. This building was established in 1979 and opened for services in the mid of 1980. It consists of three levels with the total area of 6,700 square meters.

The first level                                                                                                                                   
       The first level consists of reading area, dissertations/theses, reference books, KU collection, pamphlets, academic work, reserved books, oversized books, standards, circulation counter service, reference counter service, OPAC terminals, photocopy room and office of Information Resource Management department.

The second level
       The second level consists of reading area, journals and newspaper service, Royal Thai government gazette, OPAC terminals, photocopy room, staff canteen and office of Public Service department.

The third level 
       The third level consists of reading area, Thai and Foreign books, fictions/short stories, self-study rooms, training/meeting room and OPAC terminals.

Kasetsart University Learning Centre (KULC) Building
       As our slogan is “KU Learning Center: Gateway to Academic and Research Excellence”, the new library building named as “KU Learning Center” with the concept of “Living Library”. KU Learning Center is funded by the government for construction about 147,000,000 Baht and receive fund from Kasetsart University about 10,000,000 Baht. In addition, Kasetsart University contributes to support for purchasing the library furniture by allocating the government budget that KU received about 13,000,000 Baht. Total budget is 222,000,000 Baht and opened for service in May 2006, with total area of 14,085 square meters, as follow:

The first level
       The first level consists of reading area, exhibition hall, internet room, leisure area, self check-out station, reference counter service, and office of Public Service department. The design of this floor is Fresh Green Leaf.

The second level
       The second level consists of multimedia area, edutainment zone, audio-visual counter service, video on demand area, language learning area (language on demand), cable TV area, mini theater room, training room, conference room 1 & 2, and office of Educational Technology department. The design of this floor is Pink Flower.

The third level
       The third level consists of Agricultural Knowledge Center (AGKC), Thai National AGRIS Center (TNAC), International Buffalo Information Center (IBIC), single study rooms and group study rooms, office of AGRIS  and Information Technology department. The design of this floor is Fruits & Vegetables.

The fourth level
       The forth level consists of reading area, KU Knowledge Depository room, office of the Director, office of the Deputy Directors, office of the Secretariat, staff canteen, conference room 3, quality control room and KU Archives. The design of this floor is the Symbolic Color of Library (Orange).

 The fifth level
       The fifth level consists of Princess Sirindhorn International Center for Research, Development and Technology Transfer, working room for Princess Sirindhorn, conference room, the office area for Princess Sirindhorn International Center, and the Research Square.
