Laptop Loan Service PDF Print E-mail

1. Who can borrow a laptop?
    Currently registered KU Graduate/Undergraduate students and lecturer who are in good standing are eligible to borrow a laptop. 

2. How do I check out a laptop?
   You must present your Student ID Card and sign Laptop Computer Loan Agreement and Use Policy.

3. Where can I check out a laptop?

   Laptops are available at the Laptop Loan service desk located on the 1st floor of KULC building.

4. How long can I have the laptop?
   Laptops may be checked out for a maximum of 3 hours. They must be returned 10 minutes before due time.

5. Can I reserve a laptop?
    No, Laptops cannot be reserved. They are available on a first come first served basis.

6. Can someone help me to use the laptop?
    The Library only assist with technical difficulties. They do not provide instructions.

7. Can I take the laptop outside the library?

   No, laptops use in the library only. And you are fully responsible for returning the laptop before the due time. Any laptops be taken out off Kasetsart  University Library will be considered as stolen property and the Police will be notified.

8. What if the laptop is damaged or stolen while I have it checked out?

    You are fully responsible for the laptop while it is checked out under your name.  You  will be charged for any repair or replacement costs.  So please do not leave the laptop unattended at any time!

 9. Can I load my own programs on to the laptop?
     No, personal programs may not be loaded on to the laptop.

10. Where do I save my own files?
     Personal files should be saved on a USB flash drive.

11. Can I print using the laptop?
      No, you can't.

12. Can I take the laptop out of the library?
      No, laptops are for use within the library only.
