1. To dress properly and to behave responsibly.

2. Library users could leave bags or briefcases in locker room. Take care of your valuable belongings.

3. Use the Library card to enter the library.

4. Do not make a loud noise or do anything that would disturb others in the Library. Complete silence shall be observed in the reading room the 4th floor (Quiet zone).

5. Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited in public areas within the library.

6. Cell phones should be set to silent ring or vibrate upon entering the Library to prevent incoming calls from disturbing other patrons. Library users may respond to calls in the phone area, or outside of the Library building.

7. Must not damage or destroy any Library properties.

8. No library material shall be removed from a library building until a loan has been appropriately transacted.

9. Library users should not attempt to reserve study places by leaving personal belongings at desks when they have left the building.  Belongings may be cleared to allow others to use study places.

10. Note that any unattended belongings are left at the owner’s risk and Library users are advised not to leave valuables even if they will be away from the desk for a short time.

11. Power supply is to be used with library laptop only.

12. Library users may be asked to present their bag for inspection by Library staffs, as well as any books or folders they are carrying.


What to do when they break the rules

2. If they still do not follow the rule after being warned, then they will be invited to be outside the library

3. Any users who destroy or act anything that lead to property injury will be fined 3 times of book cost and cut down the library using privilege (1 semester for the library members and life long for external users), as well as inform their faculties for punishment process.

4. Anyone who take the library resources out of the library without the normal check out will be fined 10 times of book cost and cut down the library using privilege (1 semester for the library members and life long for external users), as well as inform their faculties for punishment process.
